With a strange resemblance to Polaroid pictures, each hearth in the collection takes on either a square or rectangular frame that is slightly thicker on the bottom with a gaping negative space in the middle. Created by Valencia-based industrial designer Borja García in collaboration with Marian Sanchez-Aedo for Spanish manufacturer Gandia Blasco, the Llar Fireplace Collection is made out of [lacquered steel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/barred-collection).
