LL Cool J will join the list of rappers releasing new streetwear lines this summer as his own brand, Rock the Bells, gears up to launch its 'Hip Hop is Essential' collection.

Cool J's goal with the new collection is to offer customers premium athleisure looks at affordable prices while remaining true to his own retro sensibilities. "I wanted to create something that represents me: high quality, self-assured, versatile, and comfortable,” said Cool J.

Browse through the line, and it becomes obvious that the rapper really does take comfort seriously. Baggy crewnecks, sweatpants, and sweat-shorts are the centerpieces of this throwback capsule. The collection also offers each garment in various colors ranging from bright blues, yellows, and pinks to earthy greens, beiges, and grays.
