Unlike other [vertical gardens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aerospring-pinch-hydroponic-system), it is a simple plant holder that mounts onto the wall like a mailbox. Although it is quite simple on its own, when overflowing with lush greenery, the Living Wall Planter becomes a spectacular sight that adds a fresh feel to any home. Designed by Woolly Pocket, the same company that designed a [totable planter purse](http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/planter-handbags) and a [garden floor](http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/woolly-pocket-garden-company), the Living Wall Planter is just one more step towards a nature-filled home. It is even easy to take care of. The Living Wall Planter comes with a [self-watering tank](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hemisphere). It can also be [hung in a group](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/planter-300) for a bigger statement. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.2/10 - Popularity: 87% | Activity: 60% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Vertical Gardens:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop innovative self-watering techniques for vertical gardens to reduce maintenance efforts. - **Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create unique and customizable plant holders that add a fresh and nature-filled feel to home interiors. - **Indoor Gardening:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design compact and easy-to-care-for plant holders that encourage indoor gardening in urban environments. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Improvement:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrate self-watering technology into traditional plant holders to meet the growing demand for low-maintenance gardening solutions. - **Interior Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Collaborate with interior designers to create plant holders that seamlessly blend with various home decor styles while promoting indoor greenery. - **Urban Farming:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop space-saving plant holders for urban farmers to cultivate plants in limited spaces and contribute to sustainable food production. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Uniquely Shaped Self-Watering Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/self-watering-plant-house.md) - [Self-Watering Desk Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/posha.md) - [Futuristic Self-Watering Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-klaustrafloria.md) - [Naturalistic Self-Watering Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apot-selfwatering-planter.md) - [Vertical Workstation Wall Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceramic-wall-planter.md) - [Self-Watering Compact Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/patella-crescenda.md) - [Self-Watering Smart Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-leafypod.md) - [Smart Self-Watering Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tendril-1.md) - [Mini Mess-Free Garden Units](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hydroponics-garden.md)
