What appears to be a table in its fundamental form is also a [contemporary display case](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/monumental-table) with a pair of [see-through compartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sklo). Daniel Duarte was inspired by the style of 11th century furnishings of European nobility with the creation of this magnificent movable. The wooden tabletop is interrupted with the sunken insertion of a jewel-like cage with another multifaceted box placed next to it. Both elements of the Living Garden feature [tinted green glass](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/look-mum-no-uv) that and very fine metal edging that enable you to get a glimpse of the prized items inside. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.9/10 - Popularity: 72% | Activity: 96% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Living Garden Furniture:** Opportunity for furniture makers to incorporate functional storage with room for plant life for customers seeking unique home decor options. - **Jewelry Display Cases:** Opportunity for retailers to upgrade their jewelry displays with see-through compartments and eye-catching designs inspired by historical furnishings of nobility. - **Multifunctional Home Decor:** Opportunity for designers to innovate multifaceted products that serve both as functional furniture and decorative displays, adding value for homeowners. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Innovative designs like Living Garden could increase demand for furniture manufacturers who can create unique solutions for storage, display, and plant life. - **Retail:** Trend towards multifunctional display cases presents an opportunity for retailers to showcase both jewelry and other decorative objects, and attract design-conscious buyers. - **Home Decor:** Growing interest in unique furniture pieces with added functionality could lead to a surge in demand for creative home decor solutions that look good and function well. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Geometrically Informed Outdoor Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/outdoor-table1.md) - [Plant-Friendly Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jcp-universe-coloniae.md) - [Jewelry-Inspired Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/through-chrome-reflections.md) - [Glass Geometry Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glass-collection.md) - [Handle-Equipped Planter Shelves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-plant-shelf.md) - [Illuminating Home Display Pedestals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/welcome-decor-piece.md) - [Dynamic Sculptural Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/interactive-transformation-table.md) - [Living Storage Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/treevive.md) - [Terrarium Stool Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wild-stool.md)
