# Potted Tables Little Garden Table By Ayman | Published 2008-06-04 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/little-garden-table References: [bonluxat](http://www.bonluxat.com/a/tokujin-yoshioka-little-garden-table.html) I love how this stylish table by Tokujin Yoshioka incorporates a convenient little garden right into the design allowing you to save space by having your plants and flowers flourish right under your table. The **Little Garden** is a round, metal, low table produced by Moroso. Its top is supported by a central circular stem that has a flower pot at the base. "This apparently simple design is the fruit of an extremely complex research into the ideal proportions of form and materials and a meticulous attention to details," explains bonluxat. "Poetry and magic in a simple yet brilliant design." The table is available in two heights. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.8/10 - Popularity: 1% | Activity: 45% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Multifunctional Furniture:** Furniture with additional features or purposes such as incorporating a garden or storage space creates opportunity for disruptive innovation in furniture design. - **Indoor Gardening:** Growing plants within home interiors is becoming increasingly popular and provides opportunities for innovation in gardening technology. - **Compact Living:** As people shift toward smaller living spaces, furniture that combines multiple functionalities and saves space becomes more important. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture Design:** Shifting towards furniture designs that combine multiple functions and save space creates opportunity for innovation in furniture design. - **Gardening:** As indoor gardening becomes more popular, there is opportunity for innovation in technology to facilitate growth and care of plants indoors. - **Interior Design:** Compact living spaces require creative and innovative approaches to interior design that incorporate multifunctional furniture and small-space solutions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Geometrically Informed Outdoor Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/outdoor-table1.md) - [Haute Waterlily-Like Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lilypad-table.md) - [Compact Outdoor Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-1.md) - [Clay-Covered Outdoor Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nendo-kasane-33-clay-table.md) - [Sensory Stimulation Dining Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oasix-table.md) - [Origami-Inspired Lit Table Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightup.md) - [Integrated Planter Worktables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plantable-office.md) - [Minimalist Indoor Gardening Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/balconyfarm-pot.md) - [Plant-Friendly Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jcp-universe-coloniae.md)
