I’m not sure exactly how I feel about the Lise El Sayed ‘Tapistongs,’ but one thing I do know is that it’s a pretty adorable idea. Taking a [great shag carpet](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/matter-colection) and creating [matching slippers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/embroidered-slippers1) is one thing; having cut-outs where those slippers originated is simply ingenious.

Ok, so I guess I’m kind of taken with the idea. I mean, nowadays [carpets are somewhat unwanted](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/newstalgia-collection), so they’re more rugs than anything else. With the Lise El Sayed ‘Tapistongs,’ you can walk around on carpet every second while at home.
