# Deceptive Tablet Flasks This Tricky Liquor Flask is Designed to Mimic an Apple iPad By David Ingram | Published 2015-08-27 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/liquor-flask References: [theawesomer](http://theawesomer.com/stashpad-flask/333583/) & [kickstarter](https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1645149008/stashpad-the-king-of-all-flasks) This particular type of smart tablet is made more for partying than getting any work done, but that's because it's actually a cleverly hidden liquor flask in disguise. The 'StashPad' is made to mimic the look and feel of an [Apple](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-stylish-pill-box) [iPad](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pitaka-flipbook-case), and is actually the second liquor flask released from the makers of the 'iFlask' which resembles a typical [iPhone](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pad-quill) device. The 'Stashpad' however features several additional design elements that has it's creators boldly referring to it as 'The King of All Flasks." This new model can hold quite a bit more booze than its phone counterpart -- a total of 12 fluid ounces to be exact -- and also has a hidden compartment that can store up to four cigarillos at a time. The accessory is also ideal for whatever else you might want to keep on hand with you as you go about your business. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.2/10 - Popularity: 65% | Activity: 53% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Kitchen](https://www.trendhunter.com/kitchen) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Disguised Flasks:** There is an opportunity to create more innovative designs for flasks that mimic everyday objects to be used for partying or other occasions covertly. - **Tech-inspired Drinking Accessories:** Technology-inspired drinking accessories such as flask replicas that mimic popular tech gadgets could be a trend to look out for in the near future. - **Hybrid Products:** A trend of creating hybrid products such as a liquor flask that can also hold cigarillos or other small items may emerge in the market. ### Who This Affects Most - **Hospitality:** Hotels, resorts and event organizers may explore the incorporation of tech-inspired drinking accessories into their services to enhance their guests’ experience of entertainment. - **Consumer Goods:** Companies dealing with consumer goods and party supplies could explore the production of disguised flasks and other tech-inspired drinking accessories to target younger audiences who are more receptive to novelty items. - **Fashion Accessories:** There is an opportunity for designers who specialize in fashion accessories to explore the production of disguised flasks as a part of their product line that caters to younger audiences who enjoy attending parties. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Flask Phone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flask-phone-case.md) - [Insulated Music-Playing Flasks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vssl-insulated-flask.md) - [Minimalist Metallic EDC Flasks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/corkcicle-cool-flask.md) - [Leakproof Adventurer Flasks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yeti-flask.md) - [Hot Sauce Flasks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fiesta-flask.md) - [Sleek Elevated Flat-Shaped Flasks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/watr.md) - [Deceptive Stout Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/schneaky-espresso-martini.md) - [Football-Shaped Flasks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jameson-football-flask.md) - [Briefcase-Style Tablet Workstations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pitaka-flipbook-case.md)
