What's great about this particular electric longboard is the fact that it can easily be folded into your knapsack or travel bag. This particular design feature circumvents one of the most common issues with longboards, which is that their long shape and form factor makes them very awkward and bulky to carry around when not in use. Electric longboards are supposed to be fun but also hassle-free, which is exactly what the Linky promises thanks to its ability to be [easily folded](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/niu-kqi-200f) down when not in active use. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.6/10 - Popularity: 25% | Activity: 74% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Autos](https://www.trendhunter.com/autos) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Foldable Electric Longboards:** The trend of foldable electric longboards offers convenience and portability for on-the-go users. - **Portable Electric Transportation:** The trend of portable electric transportation devices, like the Linky Longboard, allows for easy transportation and storage. - **Compact Personal Mobility Solutions:** The trend of compact personal mobility solutions, exemplified by folding electric longboards, provides users with convenient options for urban transportation. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Electric Skateboards:** The electric skateboard industry can further innovate by developing more foldable options to cater to the needs of on-the-go users. - **Outdoor Recreation Gear:** The outdoor recreation gear industry can explore the integration of foldable electric longboards to provide customers with versatile and portable transportation options. - **Urban Mobility:** The urban mobility industry can leverage the trend of foldable electric longboards to offer commuters a convenient and sustainable way to travel short distances. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Highly Portable Electric Skateboards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zetazs-knight-pro.md) - [Skateboard-Inspired Electric Scooters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bustin-boards-skatex.md) - [Collapsible Commuter E-Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/collapsible-commuter-ebike.md) - [Hybridized Electric Longboards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hybridized-electric-longboards.md) - [Folding Urban E-Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folding-urban-ebike.md) - [Elongated Cargo-Ready eBikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fold-efold-long-john.md) - [Compact Foldable E-Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ox1.md) - [Folding User-Friendly Urban Scooters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/electric-scooter-concept.md) - [Tri-Fold Unibody Electric Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/onebots7.md)
