WiFi dead zones in a home can quickly render technology ranging from smartphones, to laptops offline. While [WiFi extenders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nighthawk-rs100) have helped to somewhat solve this, they often throttle the speed and can sometimes create connectivity issues. The Linksys Velop Mesh Router System solves this with a router design that has multiple units that can be spread throughout the home to ensure complete coverage regardless of the location. The Linksys Velop Mesh Router System turns a single Internet connection into an expansive network without having to worry about overworking a single router or getting kicked offline. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.9/10 - Popularity: 34% | Activity: 46% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Mesh Router Systems:** The rise of mesh router systems like Linksys Velop creates opportunities for seamless and widespread WiFi coverage in homes. - **Wifi Dead Zone Solutions:** The need for reliable and uninterrupted WiFi connections in every corner of the home opens up opportunities for innovative solutions like the Linksys Velop Mesh Router System. - **Improving Home Connectivity:** Addressing the problem of WiFi dead zones through innovative router designs presents new possibilities for enhancing home connectivity experiences. ### Where This Applies - **Consumer Electronics:** Mesh router systems like Linksys Velop and its competitors drive innovation in the consumer electronics industry by offering improved WiFi coverage. - **Internet Service Providers:** The rise of mesh router systems highlights the opportunity for Internet service providers to partner or integrate these solutions to enhance their customers' WiFi experience. - **Smart Home Technology:** Mesh router systems represent an important component of smart home technology, as they contribute to ensuring seamless connectivity between devices in the home. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Accessible WiFi 7 Routers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/netgear-orbi-370-series.md) - [Future-Ready Networking Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eero-max-7.md) - [Mesh Gaming Routers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rog-rapture-gt6.md) - [Affordable Next-Gen Router Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/linksys-hydra-6.md) - [Home Mesh Networking Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eero1.md) - [Family-Focused Home Routers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/synology-wrx560.md) - [Next-Gen Networking Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/msi-roamii-be-lite.md) - [Mesh-Compatible WiFi Extenders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reyee-rgrex12-wifi-range-extender.md) - [360-Degree WiFi 7 Routers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/netgear-wifi-orbi-970-series.md)
