Designer Kim Jiwoo is the. mind behind the [LINK](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/linkdesigns) Tumbler, which is made with sustainable efforts in mind. The LINK is a design concept that offers users a balance between a [thermoplastic tumbler](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vssl-rift-tumbler) that is actually crafted from unused wood. CXP, otherwise known as Cellulose Cross-linked Polymer is a solution that ensures it meets various standards.

It is made from wood -- specifically, it is the cellulose that is the formulation of trees and plants that have been plasticized through a chemical process. CXP functions similarly to wood so once the LINK has reached the end of its life cycle, it is fully biodegradable or used to create more thermoplastics. Additionally, it has a speckled visual which gives each tumbler its special identity.
