This lovely young lady named Lindsay Lohan made an appearance at a [Versace event](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/statement-bags), and boy, that gold tone does nothing for her complexion. Although Lindsay Lohan's [gold dress](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ana-bag) will allow me to make several Golden Girls references in the years to come (oh Blanche!), I'm personally not the biggest fan of this particular outfit.

**Implications** - In a society where people are constantly on the web, there isn't a moment where [celebrity triumphs or failures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tan-on-the-run) are not captured by the media. People are fascinated with the lives of celebrities because they are so different from their own lives. Becoming immersed in a celebrity's life may be an escape to those who need a break from their everyday lives.
