Lincoln Financial Field, the friendly confines that the Eagles call home, will be self-powered using a combination of [wind turbines, solar panels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solar-electric-pavilion), and a biofuel co-generation system.

Lincoln Financial Field will meet all of its energy needs on-site by September 2011. When the field is not in use, it is expected to pump up to four megawatts of power back into the local grid.
