The bottle is characterized by its fractured design, which is achieved using pieces of broken glass in order to draw attention to the recycled nature of the packaging itself. The bottle is titled the 'Absolut Comeback' by the designers and was achieved using reverse engineering. Product designer John Oczabruk spoke on the limited-edition Absolut Vodka bottle saying, "Because this is a completely original bottle design, we first needed to create a sculpture by attaching [pieces of recycled Absolut bottle glass](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/recycled-gin-bottle) to a 3D print of an Absolut bottle, to maintain the bottle’s iconic look and shape.
