Everyone can now see the whole flight path of their ball when hitting a light-up golf ball, it's so much easier to see and follow at night. This new LED technology in lighted golf balls/targets gives a boost to golf courses and driving ranges and brings golf entertainment to a whole new level. These LED Golf balls are multi-layer 80 compression balls that feel like any other ball in your bag. The lighted balls are on a 30 second light timer, are motion-activated and continue to glow with after-glow technology. The light activation technology is amazing for tournaments or backyard play. This now puts the user in easy control of when the light-up golf ball can be turned on and off. Placing a light, such as a cell phone camera's flashlight on the sensor area controls the light activation and allowing a golfer to play one hole or a whole tournament without any concern of the light turning off on the golf ball. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.3/10 - Popularity: 6% | Activity: 26% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Sports](https://www.trendhunter.com/sports) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **LED Golf Balls:** LED golf ball technology is revolutionizing the game of golf, providing enhanced visibility and extended playing hours. - **Light-up Targets:** The introduction of light-up targets in golf driving ranges is creating a new level of entertainment and engagement for players. - **Backyard Golf Kits:** Light-up backyard golf kits are bringing the excitement of night golf to homes, offering a unique recreational activity for families and friends. ### Where This Applies - **Golf Courses:** The adoption of LED golf ball technology presents an opportunity for golf courses to attract more players and extend playing hours, improving customer experience. - **Golf Equipment Manufacturers:** Manufacturers of golf equipment can capitalize on the growing demand for LED golf balls and light-up targets by innovating new products that enhance the gaming experience. - **Recreational Entertainment Facilities:** Recreational entertainment facilities, such as driving ranges and entertainment centers, can incorporate LED golf balls and light-up targets to offer a unique and captivating golfing experience for their customers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Luminous LED Basketballs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/goldfirefly.md) - [Illuminated Flying Discs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/active-led-flying-disc.md) - [Floating LED Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/poof-light.md) - [Design-Forward Golf Balls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/soft-feel-golf-balls.md) - [Design-Adorned Golf Balls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uther.md) - [Beginner Golfer-Ready Platforms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/topgolf-shop.md) - [Professional-Grade Golf Ball Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/golf-ball.md) - [Golf Simulation Projection Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/benq-lh820st.md) - [Elevated Golf Club Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/callaway-golf.md)
