# Contemporary Parisian Lamps Lighting by Ozone is Classically Modern and Subtly Futuristic By Meghan Young | Published 2012-04-26 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lighting-by-ozone References: [yankodesign](http://www.yankodesign.com/2012/04/24/parisian-perfection/) & [ozonelight](http://www.ozonelight.com/) Parisians might be known for their quaint and classic style, but the Lighting by Ozone shows that they are well in-tune with contemporary furniture design as well. Clean, classy and steeped in sophistication, which is only to be expected for this prim and proper culture, the collection is also [subtly experimental](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kawabi) and a tad futuristic. Perfect for modern, minimal settings as well as warmer, traditional ones, Lighting by Ozone is comprised of [floor lamps, pendant lamps, table lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-lighting-instruments) and even wall-mounted light fixtures. The designs vary greatly from one another. While Line is a straight beam of bright white light from ceiling to floor, Omega emits a warm, orange glow reminiscent of a beautiful dying star. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.9/10 - Popularity: 80% | Activity: 60% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Contemporary Furniture Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create furniture designs that combine the classic and the futuristic. - **Minimalist Lighting:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop lighting solutions that blend seamlessly with modern, minimalistic interiors. - **Experimental Lighting Designs:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore and create lighting fixtures that push the boundaries of traditional design. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrate innovative lighting concepts into furniture designs. - **Interior Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Incorporate unique lighting fixtures into interior design schemes. - **Lighting Manufacturing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Produce customized lighting solutions that cater to both modern and traditional styles. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Opulent Outdoor Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gubi-seine-portable-lamp.md) - [Stunningly Minimalist Lighting Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-lighting-design.md) - [Industrial Contemporary Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shop-light.md) - [Delicate Lighting Collection Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/delicate-lighting.md) - [Modern Dynamic Structural Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/horizon-table-light.md) - [Lantern-Inspired Soft Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fermob-lighting.md) - [Moon-Inspired Column Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/column-lights.md) - [Luxurious Futuristic Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/futuristic-table-lamp.md) - [Comet-Inspired Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oort.md)
