A blue pattern begins to grow while you're sitting on the sofa with your partner signifying your distance apart from each other. Moving towards each other pink petals begin to form signifying your closeness and as you get closer you will be shortly bounded with a bunch of flowers. **Implications** - The technology used to create this incredible sofa is called Electrolumiscent technology. It is amazing that a couch is able to sense where you are sitting and react to your movements! The lit-up flowers that the couch produces are actually quite pretty. The pattern is random and will not always be the same. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.6/10 - Popularity: 63% | Activity: 6% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Naughty](https://www.trendhunter.com/naughty) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Electroluminescent Furniture:** Creating furniture that uses electroluminescent technology to sense and respond to movements opens up opportunities for unique interactive design experiences. - **Emotive Interiors:** Designing interiors that respond to emotions and change accordingly can create personalized and engaging environments. - **Dynamic Lighting Design:** Incorporating dynamic lighting elements into furniture design can create new opportunities for visual interest and interactive experiences. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture:** The furniture industry can explore using electroluminescent technology to create unique and personalized design experiences for customers. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can incorporate emotive and dynamic lighting elements into their designs to create engaging and memorable environments. - **Lighting Design:** Lighting design can expand to include dynamic and interactive elements within furniture design, opening up new possibilities for the industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Interactive Blooming Floor Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bloomlight-s-lamp.md) - [Voice-Enabled Recliner Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sitjoy-smartsofa.md) - [Flexible Tech-Informed Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shift-sofa.md) - [Transparent Hard-Sided Sofas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spark-sofa.md) - [Modular Mood Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lumen-chair.md) - [High-Back Embracing Sofas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cozmo-hug.md) - [Modular Multifunctional Sofa Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hulala-home-elitenest.md) - [Illusory Floating Sofa Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-soft-sofa.md) - [Mountainous Magnetic Wall-Mounted Sofas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mousarris-summit-modular-sofa.md)
