Light Art Performance photography describes the process using LED lights as “short, long time bulb exposure photography performed additionally with movement of light, on a real time basis”, utilizing the opening and closing of the shutter. Each process creates one single photo which is not computer enhanced. The whole process is descended from light drawing and has since developed into its own art form. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.7/10 - Popularity: 4% | Activity: 68% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Light Art Performance Photography:** Opportunity for innovation in the field of photography by incorporating LED lights and long-time bulb exposure techniques. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Photography:** Potential for a new subfield of photography that focuses on non-manipulated images using light performance techniques. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Life-Like 3D Canvases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lumino.md) - [Paper Curvature Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paper-curves.md) - [Festive Light Painting Techniques](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-painting-1.md) - [Ultra-Chic Sculptural Lighting Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-lighting-design.md) - [Math-Driven Lighting Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alba-light.md) - [Immersive Light Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/psychoacoustic-light-ensemble.md) - [Physics-Based Artful Light Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aura-collection-1.md) - [Organic Light Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lapso.md) - [Illuminated Curtained Light Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/making-the-invisible-visible.md)
