Danish architecture firm [COBE](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/museum-wegner) is tasked to create an [extension for this library](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/skylab) in Copenhagen and the firm truly challenges the traditional understanding of design for public facilities with the wedge-shaped silhouette it produced. The structure is, without a doubt, exceptionally interesting as at its narrowest point, it dips to 1.5 meters.

The library in Copenhagen — attentively called the Tingbjerg Library and Culture House, is actually [part of a school](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rahmah-library). COBE consciously chose a modernist approach to the building's aesthetic, in order to pay homage to the surrounding area, as well as attempt to revitalize the current state of the neighborhood — this part of the Danish capital is currently "suffering social deprivation and high crime rates."
