It is in fact not a spoof, it is a retro CRT style television available on the Korean market. You just have to wonder why the CRT is making this rather odd appearance, but it would be kind of cool for watching some Starsky and Hutch reruns. The TV skin is actually authentic ‘70s orange or dark brown, has analog style rabbit-ear antennae, and chrome legs FTW. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.7/10 - Popularity: 51% | Activity: 22% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Retro TV Revival:** Opportunity for manufacturers to bring back retro CRT-style televisions with a modern twist. - **Nostalgic Design:** Increasing demand for vintage-inspired electronics, like CRT-style TVs, that evoke a sense of nostalgia. - **Analog Aesthetics:** Growing interest in analog-style design elements, such as rabbit-ear antennae and chrome legs, in modern electronics. ### Who This Affects Most - **Consumer Electronics:** Manufacturers can explore the market opportunity for retro-style CRT TVs and cater to consumers seeking a nostalgic viewing experience. - **Home Entertainment:** Opportunity for content providers to tap into the retro TV trend by offering curated collections of classic TV shows and movies. - **Interior Design:** Designers and retailers can incorporate retro CRT-style TVs into their product offerings to cater to customers looking to add a vintage aesthetic to their homes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Artistically Enhanced TVs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stylish-tv.md) - [Concrete-Like Textile Televisions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loewe-technology.md) - [Art-Inspired Gallery TVs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lg-gallery-tv.md) - [Next-Generation TV Models](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oled-shelf-concept.md) - [Lifestyle Art Televisions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gallery-tv.md) - [Revived Retro Fans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heritage-fan.md) - [Transparent TV-Speaker Hybrids](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lg-dukebox.md) - [80s-Inspired 16-Bit Display Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/16bit-display.md) - [Simple Senior-Friendly Televisions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lg-easy-tv.md)
