Its slim and sleek silhouette is unlike any other lamp currently on the market. That is because it is the first of its kind in the world. An impressive design, to say the very least, the unimaginatively named LG OLED Table Lamp was recently unveiled at the Light+Building show in Frankfurt, Germany. Shown alongside the brand's latest Smart Lamp, the LG OLED Table Lamp is the first to utilize a [curved OLED panel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lg-display-oled-technology) as a light source. Controllable remotely by smartphone or tablet, it has different settings for a variety of moods and activities including 'movie,' 'relax' and more. Produced exclusively by LG Chem, it is unknown whether it will be available to consumers. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.4/10 - Popularity: 64% | Activity: 59% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Curved OLED Lighting:** The use of curved OLED panels as a light source creates new design possibilities in the lighting industry. - **Smart Control Lighting:** The integration of smartphone and tablet control allows for personalized lighting experiences and convenience. - **Slim and Sleek Silhouette:** The emphasis on slim and sleek design in the LG OLED Table Lamp sets a new standard for lamp aesthetics. ### Who This Affects Most - **Lighting:** The integration of curved OLED panels and smart control technologies presents opportunities for innovation in the lighting industry. - **Consumer Electronics:** The use of smartphone and tablet control in lighting products opens up new possibilities for the consumer electronics industry. - **Interior Design:** The slim and sleek design of the LG OLED Table Lamp offers disruptive innovation opportunities for interior design professionals. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sleek Smart Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mindduo-2.md) - [Plant-Cultivating Home Furnishings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lg-4.md) - [Organically Shaped Smart Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flourish-table-lamp.md) - [Architecturally Elegant Desktop Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/juba-tl1-table-lamp.md) - [Transparent OLED Premium Televisions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/signature-oled-t-smart-tv.md) - [Garden-Integrated Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/indoor-gardening-1.md) - [Portable Tilted Battery-Powered Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lumio-ovo.md) - [Futuristic LED Lava Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moonside-lamp-one.md) - [Artistic Tech-Charging Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/combi-table-lamp.md)
