This installation serves as an iteration of LG's partnership with various businesses, designers and retailers to implement [dynamic lighting displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ambient-smart-lighting) that help uniquely highlight a space. In the case of this Baskin Robbins, the company had to create a display that could illuminate the brand's diverse range of 100 flavors. The flicker-free lights were placed to create a decorative grid across the store, building upon the shop's already unique aesthetic, while enhancing the visibility of the products offered. The lighting panels, which recreate the effects of natural daylight, evenly illuminate a store, while minimizing the impact of "optical fatigue" that florescent lights can cause. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.5/10 - Popularity: 21% | Activity: 15% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Dynamic Lighting Displays:** Innovative lighting designs that help highlight and enhance the aesthetic of a space. - **Flicker-free Lighting:** Lighting panels that eliminate flickering and reduce optical fatigue, providing a more comfortable experience for customers. - **Recreating Natural Daylight:** Lighting panels that mimic the effects of natural daylight to evenly illuminate a store. ### Where This Applies - **Cafes and Restaurants:** Opportunity for cafes and restaurants to create unique and immersive lighting experiences that enhance their brand and highlight their products. - **Retail:** Opportunity for retailers to use dynamic lighting displays to create mesmerizing visual effects in their stores, attracting customers and showcasing their products. - **Hospitality:** Opportunity for hotels and hospitality businesses to incorporate flicker-free lighting panels to improve the guest experience and create a soothing ambiance. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Groundbreaking Oled Display Advancements](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lg-displays.md) - [Transparent OLED Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lg-display-transparent-oled.md) - [Stunning Stacked LED Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lg-display-oled-technology.md) - [Ultra-Bright OLED Display Technologies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lg-display-oled-ex.md) - [Customizable LED Panel Refrigerators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lg-moodup.md) - [Next-Generation TV Models](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oled-shelf-concept.md) - [AR-Powered OLED Room Dividers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vivid-oled-display.md) - [Art Display Digital Televisions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lg-gallery.md) - [Color-Coordinated Appliance Events](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/notes-tones.md)
