Featuring a three-layer design, the coffee table is inherently lightweight in terms of aesthetic and is topped with a [plexiglass top](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/draga-aurel) that has been [printed with abstract imagery](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iris-collection) to further enhance the modern look. The table has been designed by Nicola Ballini of the Nad Studio and creates a focal point in a room that speaks to the increased interest in ultra modern fixtures as consumers seek to upgrade their spaces. The 'Level Waves' coffee table can be custom-built with your choice of shape and graphics, which takes about a month to be created by the artist. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.6/10 - Popularity: 63% | Activity: 7% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Ultra Modern Fixtures:** Opportunity for designers to create unique and futuristic furniture pieces. - **Customizable Furniture:** Potential for personalized furniture options to cater to individual preferences. - **Printed Plexiglass:** Emerging trend of using printed plexiglass for decorative and artistic purposes. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Innovation opportunity for furniture manufacturers to incorporate unique materials and design elements. - **Interior Design:** Potential for interior designers to offer customizable furniture pieces that match their clients' tastes and preferences. - **Art and Printing:** Opportunity for artists and printing companies to explore the use of printed plexiglass in creating decorative and artistic furniture pieces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Fluid Topographic Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dune-table.md) - [Desert-Like 3D-Printed Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dune-coffee-table.md) - [Striking Limited-Edition Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/limitededition-coffee-table.md) - [Crystalline Gem-Like Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/soda-coffee-tables.md) - [Japandi-Style Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cloth-coffee-table.md) - [Luxe Low-Slung Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/attraction-coffee-table.md) - [Paper-Like Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cocoon-coffee-table.md) - [Sculpted One-Piece Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pelican-coffee-table.md) - [Harmonious Helical Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vortex-coffee-table.md)
