The memes are created by [Tumblr](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tumblr-campaign) users evilcomma and scarlettohara, who are complete pop culture addicts. Sometimes, accompanying their memes are [funny minor explanations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/satirifyme) or statements as seen in the Dear Han Solo meme partially written in Wookie. The [pop culture references](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-daily-snoo) are funny and sometimes sentimental, such as the Dear Darth Vader, in which the meme states, "Hold me like you did by the lake on Naboo." My favorite would be the Dear Bella Swan, where they state it's time to call a helpline. The Letters to Fictional People Tumblr is hysterical and definitely unforgettable. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.7/10 - Popularity: 68% | Activity: 64% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Internet](https://www.trendhunter.com/internet) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Meme Culture:** Opportunity to create humorous and relatable memes around favorite fictional characters. - **Nostalgic Pop Culture:** Creating content that references beloved pop culture characters and moments from the past. - **Online Fan Communities:** Engaging with fans through shared love for fictional characters and creating content that resonates with them. ### Where This Applies - **Social Media:** Providing platforms for users to share and create memes with fictional character references. - **Entertainment:** Developing products and experiences that tap into nostalgia and fan communities. - **Content Creation:** Producing online content that caters to the interests and humor of pop culture enthusiasts. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Anonymous Letter Sending](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/anonymous-letter.md) - [Character-Inspired AI Chatbots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/superchat.md) - [Lively Literary Character Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hello-literature.md) - [Cheekily Creative Bookmarks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/illustrated-bookmarks.md) - [Personality-Forward Bookmark Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/humdrum-paper.md) - [Personalized Comic Book Creation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dreamcanvas.md) - [Cinematic Quote Generators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/screenflick.md) - [Enchanting Classic-Animation-Inspired Jewelry](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/girls-crew.md) - [Humorous Content Generators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/incorrect-quote-generator.md)
