Chic and sophisticated with a playful element, the design firm behind this space was able to introduce the LEGO accents without going too overboard. Created by HAO Design, the LEGO-inspired apartment not only boasts accent colors including green, yellow, blue and red, but also a few fun accessories that remind people of the [classic building blocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/studio-gogo). But what really stands out is the "swimming pool." Of course, it isn't actually a swimming pool. Instead of being filled with water, it is a lounge, playspace and toy storage. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.8/10 - Popularity: 77% | Activity: 59% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Playful Home Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Creating homes that incorporate playful elements and whimsical designs to appeal to families and bring joy to everyday living. - **Toy-inspired Interiors:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Designing interior spaces that draw inspiration from toys, such as LEGO, to create a unique and visually engaging environment. - **Multi-functional Spaces:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Designing spaces that serve multiple purposes, such as a lounge, playspace, and toy storage, to optimize functionality and maximize usable area in homes. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Interior Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrating elements of play and creative inspiration into interior design to cater to families seeking unique and imaginative spaces. - **Toy and Entertainment:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Collaborating with design firms to create innovative products and experiences that merge the worlds of toys and home decor, appealing to both children and adults. - **Real Estate:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Incorporating creative and interactive features, like multi-functional spaces and toy-inspired designs, into residential properties to attract families and differentiate from traditional homes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Playful-Focused Polish Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/znamy-si.md) - [Toy Brick-Inspired Studios](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/curving-block.md) - [Factory-Adjacent Dynamic Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/innovation-campus-1.md) - [Building Block Decor Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pottery-barn-kids-x-lego-collection.md) - [Playful Apartment Makeovers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/onda-apartment.md) - [Block Puzzle Modular Dollhouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dollhouse-concept.md) - [Building Block-Inspired Suitcases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-luggage.md) - [Building Block Launderettes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/launderette-of-dream.md) - [Vibrantly Artful Playful Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/play-pavilion-1.md)
