You know, the other day I was lighting some candles around the house and had a thought: why hasn't someone made a [LEGO](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-christmas-table) robot to light my candles for me?

Fortunately, my prayers were answered with this [LEGO Mindstorm creation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-9) for [YouTube](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-dreamzzz) user pasquentmax. Using standard LEGO parts that are part of the Mindstorm sets, pasquentmax made an automated LEGO robot that feeds a tea candle off a conveyor and into the path of a motion controlled lighter. The YouTube clip of the LEGO robot in action shows the system lighting five candles with nary a hiccup.

Remember parents, LEGO may be a wonderful creative outlet for kids, but when a LEGO creation can be an accessory to arson, you might want to keep an eye on what your kids are building up.
