# Violent Cartoon Lego Brick Kenny from South Park Suffers an Unfortunate Ending By Tisah Tucknott | Published 2009-07-13 | Life-Stages Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-kenny-south-park References: [brothers-brick](http://www.brothers-brick.com/2009/07/13/omg-they-killed-kenny/) If you watch [South Park](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/south-park-x-crocs-collection) on a regular basis, you’ll know how addictive the show is. The ‘OMG! They Killed Kenny’ [LEGO](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-ideas-bob-ross) creation was made by Dirk VH, and is a little violent, as it comes with an axe in his head along with the resulting gore effects. If you look carefully at the wound on Kenny’s head, you’ll see there is a miniature mouse inside his cut. I wonder what the rodent has to do with the LEGO sculpture. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.8/10 - Popularity: 55% | Activity: 80% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/toys) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Violent Lego Creations:** Creating violent and unexpected LEGO sculptures can grab attention and spark conversation. - **Edgy Cartoon Creations:** Creating unconventional takes on popular cartoon characters can appeal to audiences seeking edgy or provocative content. - **Unconventional Use of Miniatures:** Using tiny figures in unexpected ways can create visual interest and novelty. ### Where This Applies - **Toy Industry:** Exploring unconventional and playful visions for toys and playsets can open new markets and drive innovation in the toy industry. - **Entertainment Industry:** Developing edgy or provocative remixes of established characters can captivate audiences and create buzz in the entertainment industry. - **Art Industry:** Exploring unconventional media and subject matter in art can create disruptive opportunities for artistic expression and inspire new forms of creative output. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Iconic Artist Toy Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-ideas-bob-ross.md) - [Nostalgic Show-Inspired Puzzle Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pingu-set.md) - [Spooky Show-Themed LEGO Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/netflix-series-wednesday.md) - [Television Family-Inspired Puzzle Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bobs-burgers-set.md) - [Offline Game-Inspired Brick Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brick-dangerous.md) - [Show Skit-Inspired Puzzle Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mr-bean-skit.md) - [Horror Film-Inspired Brick Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ideas-jaws-set.md) - [Witty Toy-Brand Horror Posters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/horror-poster.md) - [Puppet-Inspired Building Block Figures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-muppets-minifigures.md)
