Built for the 'Brick 2015' [LEGO exhibition](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-ideas-italian-riviera) in London, England, this historical LEGO display depicts Emperor Hadrian's stone wall along the Northern territory of the Roman Empire. The display features two sides with both a Roman and Celtic section. On the Roman side, various temples, towns and forts are constructed down to the last detail with LEGO blocks. The same can be said for the Celtic side of the wall that features an Iron Age village complete with villagers, huts and statues as well. As part of their research, some of the team members even completed a history course at Newcastle University and attended a field trip to the ancient site of the historical wall. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.1/10 - Popularity: 87% | Activity: 57% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/toys) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **LEGO Historical Replicas:** There is an opportunity to develop a market around historical replica LEGO sets, providing kits for consumers to build models of important historical structures. - **Educational LEGO Sets:** There is an opportunity to incorporate LEGO sets into educational programs to help children better understand history and other subjects through play-based learning. - **LEGO Tourism:** There is an opportunity to develop a form of tourism that revolves around LEGO displays, leveraging the growing interest in LEGO and offering unique attractions for travelers. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Toy:** Toy companies can explore creating historically accurate LEGO sets for consumers to build, expanding on the growing market for LEGO playsets. - **Education:** Educational programs can explore using LEGO sets to create interactive and engaging educational experiences that incorporate history and other subjects. - **Tourism:** Tourism companies can explore creating LEGO-based attractions and experiences for travelers, offering a unique and engaging form of tourism that caters to the growing interest in LEGO. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Historical Architecture Game Blocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-notre-dame-set.md) - [Intricate Architectural Puzzle Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trevi-fountain-model.md) - [Architecture-Inspired Legos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brooklyns-architectural-history.md) - [Medieval Building Block Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lion-knights-castle.md) - [Nature-Inspired Building Block Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/seven-natural-wonders-of-the-world.md) - [Toy Building Block Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-exhibition.md) - [Museum-Replicating Puzzle Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/natural-history-museum-set.md) - [Japanese Castle-Themed Puzzle Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/himeji-castle.md) - [Modular STEM Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-evolution-of-stem.md)
