This security system seems to have been designed for safer neighborhoods since the main deterrent is the inability to rotate the rear wheel. The easy-to-use pushbike attachment is a [kickstand](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/draken-bicycle-stand), contributing no extra bulk to the frame of your bike and requiring no chains. While you're in motion, the metal prop is oriented upwards; after you dismount, draw the stand downwards and set the combination lock. A branching metal bar on the Leglock will become fixed between the [spokes of your back wheel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-naowheel), making it impossible for someone to jump on and ride away. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.1/10 - Popularity: 36% | Activity: 20% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Autos](https://www.trendhunter.com/autos) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Wheel-fixing Kickstands:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop advanced wheel-fixing kickstands with integrated smart locks for enhanced security and convenience. - **Bicycle Theft Prevention:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create innovative security systems that deter bicycle theft without adding bulk or complexity to the bike. - **Simplified Bike Attachments:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design easy-to-use bike attachments that provide additional functionalities without compromising the usability or aesthetics of the bike. ### Where This Applies - **Bicycle Accessories:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop and market advanced bike accessories that improve safety, security, and user experience. - **Smart Lock Technology:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore the potential of smart lock technology to provide secure and convenient solutions for various applications, including bike locks. - **Urban Transportation:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Innovate in the urban transportation sector by creating solutions that address the specific needs of cyclists, such as theft prevention and easy bike attachments. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Hidden Seat Bike Locks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lockinvisible.md) - [Bike Security-Enhancing Locks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gravity-wheelnutz.md) - [Collapsible Ultra-Secure Bike Locks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folding-lock.md) - [Helmet-Friendly Bike Locks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/abus-combiflex-travelguard.md) - [Three-in-One Bike Locks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multifunctional-bike-lock.md) - [Discreet Connected Bike Locks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/laas-olock.md) - [Slap-Band-Inspired Bike Locks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/slapstick-smart-bicycle-lock.md) - [Impenetrable Cyclist Locks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/litelok-x1.md) - [Solid Axle Wheel Locks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pinhead-m9.md)
