U.K.-based company Made has taken old wooden pallets and transformed them into the eco-friendly Legion Pallet Table. Each one of the pallets has been sandblasted for a "textured finish [then] waxed to a lovely dark golden brown," according to Made. All the tables are one of a kind and have different markings based on use. This means that every buyer is receiving a unique counter with a rough, vintage aesthetic that is sure to please any guest. There are also wheels on the bottom, which make it that much easier to move the product. It's a quirky item that would make the perfect vintage coffee table. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.7/10 - Popularity: 94% | Activity: 98% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Upcycled Furniture:** The trend of upcycling old materials into unique furniture pieces creates opportunities for sustainable design and environmental responsibility. - **Eco-friendly Home Decor:** The growing demand for eco-friendly home furnishings presents innovative opportunities for businesses to incorporate sustainable practices into their product offerings. - **Vintage-inspired Design:** The resurgence of vintage aesthetics in home decor provides a market for businesses to create retro-inspired furniture and accessories with a modern twist. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture Manufacturing:** By embracing upcycling techniques, furniture manufacturers can capitalize on the trend and meet the consumer demand for sustainable and unique home furnishings. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can leverage the popularity of eco-friendly and vintage design trends to create unique and environmentally conscious spaces for their clients. - **Home Decor Retail:** Home decor retailers can curate collections of upcycled and vintage-inspired products, providing consumers with sustainable and stylish options for their homes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sustainable Side Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/re-up-side-tables.md) - [Dual-Purpose Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dog-crate-and-end-table.md) - [Rustic Recycled Wood Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/primitive-structures-table-design.md) - [Topographical Recycled Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/two-coffee-tables.md) - [Skeletal Industrial Dining Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/landr-dining-and-conference-table.md) - [Textile-Topped Table Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tumble-tables.md) - [Chic Sustainable Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sustainable-side-table.md) - [Multi-Position Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drop-side-table.md) - [Aircraft Door Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-exit-door-table.md)
