The modern home has three storeys and it is at the end of a long garden connected to the home in Greenwich. The front facade has [angled brick details](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ray-house-extension) to create a modern take on Victorian cornicing. The studio's managing director Ben Mailen notes, "The material palette was carefully selected to integrate sensitively with the surrounding architecture whilst maintaining a high level of quality and craftsmanship. By incorporating a [courtyard and large expanses of glazing](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blythe-hill-house) to dual aspects, the design creates a sense of openness and flow, bringing in natural light and extending views beyond the immediate boundaries."
