# Thermometric LED Faucets This LED Faucet Light Color-Codes According to Water Temperature By Jen Chae | Published 2013-08-28 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/led-faucet-light References: [fancy](http://fancy.com/things/433458722124075373/LED-Water-Faucet-Stream-Light-Temperature-Sensor) & [tomtop](http://www.tomtop.com/glow-led-water-faucet-stream-light-temperature-sensor-green-red-blue-h4707.html?aid=192) Visualize the temperature of running tap water with this [LED faucet light](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/omnibath), which fits on most taps and an LED light will light up when you turn on the tap. The LED Water Faucet Stream Light Temperature Sensor is extremely easy to install. All you have to screw on the faucet piece and use the internal thread adapter provided instead of a universal one. There are no external batteries or power supplies needed; once installed, the light piece does all the work itself. The faucet's built-in thermometer measures how hot or cold the running water is and categorizes them into three colors: red for anything above 44 degrees Celsius, green for lukewarm (32°C - 43°C) and blue for cold. This would be a fun visual to add to any [kitchen or bathroom](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jema-collection) -- the colorfully illuminating water tap will add a nice finishing touch to any sink. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.6/10 - Popularity: 72% | Activity: 87% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **LED Faucet Lights:** Opportunity to expand the market for LED faucet lights and create new designs and features. - **Temperature-sensing Devices:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for temperature-sensing devices for various applications. - **Smart Plumbing Fixtures:** Potential for developing smart plumbing fixtures that can monitor and adjust water temperature in real-time. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Plumbing:** Opportunity for plumbing companies to offer LED faucet lights and temperature-sensing devices as part of their product line. - **Home Decor:** Potential for interior design companies to incorporate LED faucet lights into their product offering for kitchens and bathrooms. - **Technology:** Opportunity for tech companies to develop innovative and smart plumbing fixtures with temperature-sensing technology. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Designer Water Purifier Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lumos-water-purifier.md) - [Motion-Controlled Smart Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-faucets.md) - [Digital LED Thermometers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/therm-c.md) - [Dripping Faucet-Inspired Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-light-fixture.md) - [Touchless Smart Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-faucet-with-motion-control.md) - [Healthcare-Focused Touchless Faucet Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chicago-faucet-company.md) - [Touch-Free Kitchen Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kraus-bolden.md) - [Colorful Resin Faucet Handles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chromablock.md) - [Contactless Voice Assistant Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/huayi-smart-voice-control-faucet.md)
