The collars glow from a fair distance away (1,000 feet to be exact), making it easy for people to see you and your pooch ahead of time. The designs aren't unfashionable either, in fact consumers have various options when it comes to size, color and patterns. The collars can maintain one stream of light, or be turned on to flashing mode when walking in especially [dark areas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scoutlite-blinko). Turn your pooch into a walking Christmas tree (albeit a fashionable one), with these LED dog collars. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.6/10 - Popularity: 9% | Activity: 31% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Pets](https://www.trendhunter.com/pets) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Nighttime Safety:** LED dog collars improve visibility and safety for walking dogs at night. - **Customizable Options:** LED dog collars offer various size, color, and pattern options for consumers. - **Fashionable Functionality:** LED dog collars combine fashion and safety with their stylish designs. ### Where This Applies - **Pet Accessories:** LED dog collars are a disruptive innovation in the pet accessories industry. - **Outdoor Recreation:** LED dog collars provide a solution for improved visibility during nighttime outdoor activities. - **Safety and Security:** LED dog collars contribute to the safety and security industry by enhancing visibility for pedestrians and their dogs at night. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Pet Safety Collars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pet-safety.md) - [AI-Powered Dog Collars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/halo-collar.md) - [Glow-in-the-Dark Dog Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nerf-dog-glow.md) - [Escape-Proof Dog Collar](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/halo-collar-1.md) - [Holographic Pet Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/holographic-pet-accessories.md) - [AI Canine Health Collars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cotons-ai-lifetrack-collar.md) - [Cross-Body Dog Leashes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/extra-long-leash.md) - [AI-Driven Dog Collars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aidriven-dog-collars.md) - [Tape Measure Dog Leashes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scope-dog-leash.md)
