There is a row for hours, minutes and seconds. It's a unique and novel way to represent time and likely to appeal to design lovers as a result. Due to its flat design, Timedrop can be mounted onto a wall, or placed on a table and stood upright. The LEDs, which can feature up to 180 colors, illuminate the clock in a bright, clear matter. Consumers also have the option of choosing a clock in red, blue, green or yellow. The brightness of the clock is regulated automatically by a built-in ambient light sensor, which ensures that it is always perfectly readable, whether in the dark or in direct sunlight. The LED clock Timedrop is available until November 3rd, 2019 on [Kickstarter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/unique-timekeeping-device). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.1/10 - Popularity: 21% | Activity: 63% | Freshness: 9% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Simplistic Design-forward Clocks:** Opportunity for designing minimalist clocks with unique and novel ways of representing time. ### Where This Applies - **Home Decor:** Innovative clocks like the Timedrop can capture the attention of design lovers and offer new options for home decor. - **Electronics:** The use of LEDs and ambient light sensors in clocks presents opportunities for technological advancements in the electronics industry. - **Crowdfunding:** Timedrop's success on Kickstarter highlights the potential for crowdfunding campaigns to support the launch of innovative clock designs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Unique Timekeeping Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/unique-timekeeping-device.md) - [Pixelated Flip-Style Wall Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/miniot-klapklok.md) - [Retro Pastel Flip Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-flip-clock.md) - [Barebones Retro-Inspired Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cloudnola-flip-clock.md) - [Mechanical Digital Mesmerizing Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/triaxial-numechron-clock.md) - [Tape Measurable Time Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/setime-clock.md) - [Elegant Linear Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/linear-clockworks.md) - [Linearly Formed Wall Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/linear-clock-concept.md) - [Connected Simplicity-Focused Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-rubiks-cube-clock.md)
