Four-time NBA Champion LeBron James collaborated with PlayStation to release his custom PlayStation 5 console and DualSense wireless controller. Lebron James spoke about the collaboration: "It’s still crazy to think a kid from Akron who grew up playing games is getting to create something like this. Designing a console cover and controller with PlayStation that gives a nod to my I Promise students and where we come from is a pretty cool thing.”

The game console and the controller have Lebron James-themed designs added in with personal imagery and adages. The player’s crown logo is in multiple bright colors in a chalk-written font design with phrases “Nothing Is Given, Everything is Earned,” and “Chosen Ones.” These phrases come from the player’s hard work, sacrifice, and dedication to the elite athlete he is today. The LeBron James PS5 controller and console cover will be available later in the year and exclusive to PlayStation Direct.
