The tablet comes with a great catalogue of learning-related games and apps, all of which are free of ads, links and in-app purchases. While the concept of a [tablet designed specifically for children](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/technology-products-for-children) isn't particularly new, what's unique about the LeapFrog Epic is that it offers a customized experience that can grow over time with the child. This will make it appeal to parents weary of dropping money on a tablet every two years when their child gets bored of it. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 32% | Activity: 49% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Computers](https://www.trendhunter.com/computers) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Child-centric Tablets:** Tablets designed specifically for children that offer a customized experience. - **Parental Control & Kid-safe Components:** Combining parental controls and kid-safe components for a safe and secure device. - **Growing with the Child:** Devices that can grow with the child over time, saving parents from constantly buying new ones. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Education Technology:** A tablet that offers a wide range of learning games and apps. - **Consumer Electronics:** Tablet devices specifically designed for children. - **Childcare:** Creating tech gadgets for children to support and entertain them. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Kid-Focused Educational Tablets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smile-zemi.md) - [Child-Friendly Tablet Bundles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/samsung-galaxy-tab-a9-kids-edition.md) - [Charming Child-Friendly Tablets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tcl-tkee-mini.md) - [Children-Friendly E-Readers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kindle-colorsoft-kids.md) - [Early Literacy Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/letter-leap.md) - [Interactive Educational Toy Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/educational-toy-line.md) - [Child-Targeted Laptop Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/compal-studybook.md) - [Screen-Free Learning Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nodi-flip.md) - [Personalized Child Education Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sandbox-group.md)
