The furniture piece works by leveraging the existing walls or windows in a home by requiring them for support to literally lean against them. The unit then utilizes a pulley system to keep a tabletop in place that's great for writing or [working on a laptop](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cosi), while the desk can be used in both [standing and sitting modes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flow-desk). The 'Leandesk' is sustainably crafted using FSC-certified bamboo to give it a durable, eco-friendly and design-conscious aesthetic. The cord for the pulley system is crafted out of Dyneema to give it strength that outlasts even steel.
