This desk was designed by Marc Fish and features a [hidden storage compartment](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/obelisk-3). At first glance, this desk's surface appears to be nothing more than an artsy piece of [curved wood](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flow-set). Take a closer look however, and you'll see a pull-out desk as well as drawers that blend seamlessly into the design of the Le Orchidee. This desk is a must-have for any [home office](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dieffebi), perfect for houses with limited space. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.3/10 - Popularity: 22% | Activity: 38% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Luxury Office Furnishings:** Opportunity to create high-end, multifunctional office furniture that combines practical storage with artistic design elements. - **Hidden Storage Solutions:** Innovations in designing furniture with hidden compartments that provide extra storage space without detracting from the aesthetics. - **Compact Home Office Design:** Creating furniture specifically designed for small home offices where space-saving solutions are essential, without sacrificing style and functionality. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Opportunity for furniture manufacturers to innovate their products by incorporating aesthetic and functional features that cater to modern home offices. - **Interior Design:** Opportunity for interior designers to incorporate unique furniture pieces with hidden compartments to provide practical yet stylish design solutions. - **Home Goods Retail:** Opportunity to sell compact and modern home office furniture that caters to small spaces and the demand for practical yet stylish design elements. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Minimalist Storage-Paired Workstations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diag-desk.md) - [Fold-Away Sleek Workstations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flip-desk.md) - [Futuristic Sculptural Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arnardo-desk.md) - [Elegant Working Desk Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mindset-builtin-computer-desk.md) - [Minimalist Monochromatic Desk Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arqus-desk.md) - [Sculptural Wall Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-wall-desk.md) - [Sleek Storage-Packed Workstations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/threesix-desk.md) - [Ultra-Chic Wall Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wall-desks.md) - [Space-Saving Foldable Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foldable-desk1.md)
