# Curvaceous Writing Tables The Le Orchidee Desk by Mark Fish Has Some Junk in the Trunk By Meghan Young | Published 2010-03-27 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/le-orchidee-desk References: [contemporist](http://www.contemporist.com/2010/03/25/le-orchidee-desk-by-marc-fish/) & [fishcontemporaryfurniture](http://www.fishcontemporaryfurniture.com/) When I say that the Le Orchidee Desk has some junk in the trunk, I mean it quite literally. It may be curvaceous, but those curves were not made to go to work. Instead, the curves hide a nice level writing surface within. Designed by Mark Fish, the Le Orchidee Desk was created for the Millinery Works 21st Century Furniture exhibition in London. With a bit of a 70s feel to it, I think this retro table has something going for it in the design sphere.
