He merges his interest in [sculpting and photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ladder-series) with this shoot of his aptly named [light sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bloome). I'm not too certain what Roig's motivation for the piece is or what statement is if any one in particular he is trying to make, but I don't think it matters. The work is so visually arresting that you aren't too concerned with what spawned these lazy [luminescent sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lapso), you are just glad that you got to see them. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.6/10 - Popularity: 23% | Activity: 16% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Luminescent Sculptures:** Opportunity for artists and designers to experiment with new materials and the merge of different art forms. - **Interactive Art:** Use of lights and shadows as interactive elements that enhance the overall experience of the artwork. - **Multimedia Art:** Exploration of the intersection between different art forms to create visually stunning and thought-provoking pieces. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art and Design:** Opportunities for artists and designers to collaborate with technology to create innovative and engaging works. - **Entertainment:** Integration of interactive and immersive art installations, enhancing the overall experience and bringing together art and technology. - **Architecture:** Integration of luminescent sculptures in architectural design to create unique lighting effects. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Lightning-Inspired Artful Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bright-light-shining.md) - [Intricate Lighting Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/objects-of-common-interest1.md) - [Math-Driven Lighting Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alba-light.md) - [Emotional Light Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/miror-collection.md) - [Ethereal Light Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/peter-kovacsy.md) - [Illuminated Curtained Light Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/making-the-invisible-visible.md) - [Artfully Liquid-Like Light Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cairn-lamp.md) - [Futuristic Totemic Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/space-relics.md) - [Volcanic-Themed Light Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stone-archive.md)
