A man going by the name of J.D. California has written a sequel to the infamous novel by J.D. Salinger called “The Catcher in the Rye.”

The rip-off sequel, “60 Years Later: Coming Through the Rye,” is published by a Swedish company and tells the story of Holden Caulfield as an old man.

J.D. Salinger, the original creator of the fictional character Holden Caulfield, has [lawyers filing suit](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/banned-book-campaign) in federal court this week to stop the publication.
