[MIT](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xar) has recently revealed that it has developed a laser-based camera that has the ability to capture images not in its field of view. Instead, it emits strong [bursts of light](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lumitwin-dl700) that ricochet off these hidden surfaces back to the camera.

Although it's all very technical, this could mean huge things for news crews, military operations and more. Unfortunately, the laser-based camera is still in its testing stages. As of right now, it only yields very blurry images.
