Lars Vilks has created quite a [stunning and artistic visual masterpiece](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ladder-series) out of driftwood. The tower he created is called Nimis, and it goes along with a castle called Ar. The two of them create a maze-like intricate world of [driftwood sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hughmanity) like no other.

When the [Swedish government](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tights-to-tables) declared that the art had to be taken down, Lars Vilks had it declared an independent nation. The two breathtaking monuments are either reachable by boat, or by a 45-minute hike, making them uniquely inaccessible.
