The largest green wall in North America can be found in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, at the Guildford Town Centre. Gracing the exterior of an overpass, it brings a refreshing sight to drivers on their daily commute. Dubbed ‘Mountains & Trees, Waves & Pebbles,' the largest green wall is a masterful feat of [organic swirls and rich colors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/borealis-series).

Created by [Green Over Grey](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dubai-green-spine), the largest green wall is also known for being the only structure of its kind built directly over a roadway. As for its visual inspiration, Chief designer Mike Weinmaster says, "I wanted to gather inspiration from the natural beauty that one would experience while crossing our province [British Columbia (BC) in Western Canada]. Starting with the mountains; I am a huge fan of still photography and mountains provide the organic and free-flowing patterns which we’ve found resonate best with people when viewing our planted work."
