The [aftermarket laptop accessory](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/branch) works by being positioned onto the computer without any installation and will go to work shielding the display from bright light in outdoor spaces. This also functions as a way to enhance privacy when working in public spaces to shield visuals from nosy onlookers. The 'VIZOR' laptop glare guard is designed for computers ranging from 13-inches to 17-inches and is constructed with foam and rubber that are the only materials that make contact with the device to prevent damage. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 62% | Activity: 18% | Freshness: 10% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Computers](https://www.trendhunter.com/computers) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Aftermarket Laptop Accessories:** The market for aftermarket laptop accessories presents an opportunity for manufacturers to design products that solve customers' pain points when using their laptops. - **Outdoor Laptop Productivity Tools:** Increasing demand for laptops that can be used outdoors creates an opportunity for manufacturers to innovate and develop products that facilitate outdoor laptop use without compromising productivity. - **Privacy Enhancing Laptop Accessories:** With growing concerns about data privacy and security, there is an opportunity for manufacturers to create laptop accessories that help users protect their privacy in public spaces. ### Where This Applies - **Consumer Electronics Manufacturing:** Consumer electronics manufacturers can create aftermarket accessories to enhance the user experience of laptops and other computing devices. - **Outdoor Gear Retail:** Outdoor gear retailers can explore laptop accessories as a new product category to cater to the needs of their customers who work or study outdoors. - **Office Supply Retail:** Office supply retailers can offer laptop accessories to enhance productivity for professionals who need to take their work outdoors. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sun-Blocking Smartphone Attachments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/universal-smartphone-shade.md) - [Side-Mounted Laptop Monitors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mobile-pixels-trio-and-trio-max.md) - [Augmented Reality Projection Laptops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spacetop.md) - [Magnetic Mobile Laptop Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dualscreen-laptop-accessory.md) - [Triple-Screen Laptop Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kefeya-q2-mini.md) - [Modular Quad-Display Laptop Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/quanvizo-extendpro.md) - [Sliding Laptop Display Extenders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/display-extender.md) - [Supplemental Laptop Productivity Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sleeve-remote-work-kit.md) - [Laptop-Stowing Portable Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lapcase.md)
