The superimposed snaps capture modern landscapes that are accented with antique photos of that same landmark. This [nostalgic image series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/back-to-basics-ii) captivates its viewer and illustrates the stoic nature of our universe. While urban areas evolve and change with history, these landscape portraits prove that nature changes very little over time. The gorgeous photographs capture beach shores, mountain tops and woodside meadows that look the same today as they did a 100 years ago. Hebe Robinson is based in Oslo, Norway and has gained attention for his signature aesthetic that explores the concepts of past, present and destiny. His imagery will make its viewer ponder life and features fascinating comparisons between yesterday and today. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.2/10 - Popularity: 71% | Activity: 47% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Vintage-modern Fusion:** An opportunity to mix contemporary and vintage imagery to create nostalgic experiences for customers - **Timeless Nature:** An opportunity to showcase how nature changes very little over time through stunning photography - **Conceptual Exploration:** An opportunity to explore past, present, and destiny through modern photography techniques ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Photography:** An opportunity for photographers to experiment with combining vintage and modern imagery to create unique and captivating photographs - **Tourism:** An opportunity for the tourism industry to showcase the timeless nature of popular landmarks and attractions through vintage-modern fusion photography - **Home Decor:** An opportunity to offer customers unique vintage-modern fusion wall art that combines contemporary and antique photographs of nature, landmarks or iconic buildings. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Vintage Photo Makers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retrova.md) - [AI-Generated Poetic Photo Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emilio-alarcn.md) - [Time-Altering Digital Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/time-machine-feature.md) - [Personal Nostalgic Photo Books](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/holy-ohio.md) - [Painting-Immersive Photo Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-ground-exhibition.md) - [Interactive Architectural Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folding-landscape.md) - [Hand-Painted Watercolor Prints](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emma-webster.md) - [Stacked Stone Camera Projectors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-nostalgia-of-now.md) - [Nostalgic Computer Graphic Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retrospekt-and-polaroid.md)
