The Land Rover Series 2 restoration brings together Sean Wotherspoon and Jimmy Howson’s Stuff by Spot to revive a rare 1958 left hand drive chassis. Believed to be one of only three remaining in the UK with its original frame, the vehicle retains much of its authentic bodywork while benefiting from a rebuilt engine, upgraded transmission, and Wolf alloy wheels. Inside, thoughtful additions such as CarPlay and discreet rear seat speakers offer modern comfort without diluting the rugged essence of the original model.

The project, completed over four months in Essex, was unveiled at Monterey Car Week. Wotherspoon has developed a reputation for blending heritage with contemporary detail, and this project highlights that balance. By preserving provenance while adding subtle updates, the restoration transforms a utilitarian icon into a timeless expression of design and craft.
