The light features a subtle, round shape that's integrated with an LED light source in the body and a display on the top that will provide users with information throughout the day. The unit will truly shine, however, in the event of an emergency to visually alert users when an emergency scenario is taking place. This offers a more inclusive approach to emergency preparedness given the auditory nature that many alerts use. The conceptual 'Lamptok' light is the design work of Kim Myeonjin and Noh Gaeun, and is imagined in several stylish yet subtle color options. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.3/10 - Popularity: 93% | Activity: 72% | Freshness: 24% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Smart Emergency Lighting:** Innovative lighting solutions that provide visual alerts during emergencies are revolutionizing safety for individuals with hearing impairments. - **Connected Assistive Devices:** Integrating assistive devices with smartphones to enhance daily living shows promise in making smart homes more inclusive. - **Inclusive Lighting Designs:** Designing aesthetically pleasing and functional lighting that caters to special needs broadens the market for adaptive living products. ### Where This Applies - **Smart Home Technology:** Emerging technologies in smart homes are incorporating features to accommodate users with disabilities, increasing accessibility. - **Emergency Preparedness:** Advancements in visual emergency alert systems are improving preparedness strategies for those who might not respond to traditional auditory alarms. - **Assistive Technology:** The development of tech-integrated assistive devices is driving innovation within the field, enhancing the quality of life for people with impairments. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Accessible Home Device Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/accessble-home-device.md) - [Sensory Relaxation Smart Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/idiya-smart-lamp.md) - [Hollow Candle-Like Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lampe.md) - [Soundless Doorbell Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/silent-doorbell-1.md) - [Accessibility-Focused Alarm Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/routine-alarm-clock.md) - [Sound-Sensitive LED Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/innovative-led-lamp.md) - [Interactive Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tap-tap-table-lamp.md) - [Acousto-Optic Smart Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-wireless-speaker-design.md) - [Sleep-Aiding Tranquil Light Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-player.md)
