The lamp consists of a a [ring light](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tangent-lamp) that appears to rest somewhat haphazardly upon three support sticks, which will provide a touch airiness within the space. The fixture will provide passive, [ambient illumination](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-lighting-design) in a space to make it great for enhancing the environment with a touch of moodiness. Merve commented on the conceptual 'Lamplox' minimalist floor lamp saying, "Humanity lives with defects while searching for perfection and this is the reason why we design, compose, and always look for beauty. I disrupt the perfection when I pierce the circle with asymmetric sticks.” ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.7/10 - Popularity: 82% | Activity: 44% | Freshness: 15% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Minimalist Lighting:** The trend towards minimalist lighting is an opportunity for businesses to develop products that emphasize simplicity and functionality. - **Asymmetric Design:** Asymmetric design is a growing trend that provides businesses opportunities to create unique and eye-catching products that stand out from traditional symmetric designs. - **Passive Lighting:** Passive lighting, which provides ambient illumination to enhance the mood of a space, is an emerging trend that businesses can capitalize on to offer more versatile lighting options. ### Where This Applies - **Interior Design:** Interior design stands to benefit from minimalist lighting and passive lighting trends to create more aesthetically pleasing and functional spaces. - **Lighting:** The asymmetric design trend presents an opportunity for lighting companies to push boundaries and create new, unique products that appeal to consumers looking for something different. - **Furniture:** Asymmetric, minimalist lighting fixtures like Lamplox can be incorporated into furniture design as statement pieces, providing an opportunity for furniture companies to create innovative and distinctive products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Nature-Inspired Living Space Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moonlight-floor-lamp.md) - [Cutesy Coiled Floor Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-helix-lamp.md) - [Hollow Candle-Like Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lampe.md) - [Minimalist Mysterious Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/auge-light-mini.md) - [Simplistically Complex 3D-Printed Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sopp-lamp.md) - [Sleek Minimal Vertical Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mute-lamp.md) - [Sculptural Lunar Lighting Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moonsetter-floor-lamp.md) - [Organically Shaped Shadow Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loops-lamp.md) - [Weighted Multi-Position Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-desk-lamp-design.md)
