The lamp is characterized by its hollow construction that works with LEDs in the base to send a [comforting glow](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blow-lamp) upwards and allow it to diffuse in a soft manner. This will help to offer a soothing appearance that is perfect for placement on a [nightstand as an illuminator](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/juba-tl1-table-lamp) to use after dark, while also being great as a [chromatic accent piece](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-soft-solids) for the living room or even a workstation. The conceptual 'LAMPE' aims to change illumination by providing light to areas in a less direct manner, while still enabling the environment to be clearly seen. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.9/10 - Popularity: 93% | Activity: 74% | Freshness: 11% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Hollow Construction Lighting:** Opportunity for designing modern illuminators with a soft glow and an old-fashioned aesthetic using hollow construction and LEDs. - **Comforting Desk Lamps:** Opportunity for creating comforting desk lamps that minimize direct illumination and provide a soothing appearance. - **Chromatic Accent Pieces:** Opportunity for designing modern accent pieces that not only illuminate but also add an aesthetic appeal to the living room or workspace. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Lighting Design:** The lighting industry can design modern illuminators that make use of hollow construction to provide a soft glow and an old-fashioned aesthetic. - **Furniture Design:** The furniture industry can create comforting desk lamps that minimize direct illumination and are perfect for placement on nightstands or workstations. - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can create modern accent pieces that not only illuminate but also add an aesthetic appeal to the living room or workspace. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Incense-Mimicking Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/incense-lamp.md) - [Sculptural Glass Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tuloa.md) - [Malleable Connected Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pofu-lamp.md) - [Dreamlike Bubble-Shaped Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airshape-lamp.md) - [Bamboo-Inspired Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-desk-lamp.md) - [Ethereal Space-Inspired Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wormhole-table-lamp.md) - [Hanging Lantern-Like Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/woodo-table-lamp.md) - [Sensory Relaxation Smart Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/idiya-smart-lamp.md) - [Soft Comfort Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/soft-lamp.md)
