# Lighthouse Lamp Candles The Lumir C Candle Features an LED Bulb that Offers a Focused Light Source By M | Published 2016-01-30 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lamp-candle References: [blessthisstuff](http://www.blessthisstuff.com/stuff/living/lighting/lumir-c/) & [lumirlight](http://www.lumirlight.com/) The Lumir C is a modern take on a candle design offering the combination of an LED lightbulb as well as a tea light to create a lamp candle that functions similar to a lighthouse. The device offers a focused source of light similar to the lamp post structure famed for lighting the way for ships. Unlike a traditional candle, the Lumir C is a combination of both [a lamp and a votive](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/core-candle-holder). The device uses a small [tea light candle](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tolo-tea-candle) as the energy source, providing heat to power an LED lightbulb situated above the flame. The power lights the bulb up creating a focused light source at the top and the base of the lamp that is ideal to use as a night light or to create a soft, ambient glow without an electrical source needed. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.5/10 - Popularity: 72% | Activity: 86% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **LED Candle Lamps:** The combination of LED technology and candle design creates new opportunities for home lighting solutions. - **Eco-friendly Lighting:** Incorporating reusable tea candles and energy-efficient LED technology allows for sustainable lighting options. - **Dual-functionality Devices:** Combining the functionality of a lamp and votive creates convenient, multi-purpose products for consumers. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor:** The Lumir C offers a unique and functional addition to the home decor industry. - **Hospitality:** Hotels, restaurants, and event venues could benefit from using the Lumir C to create a romantic and cozy atmosphere without the risk of open flames. - **Gifts and Souvenirs:** The Lumir C's novel approach to candle design offers a unique and personalized gift option for souvenir shops and boutiques. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Candle-Inspired Lightbulbs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/velaflame.md) - [Naturally Inspired Digital Candles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magma-lamp.md) - [Hollow Candle-Like Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lampe.md) - [Smart Candle Warmer Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/candle-warmer-lamp.md) - [Smart Candle-Warming Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/switchbot-candle-warmer-lamp.md) - [Flame-Free Candle Warmers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retro-candle-warmer-lamp.md) - [Luxe Candle-Melting Lamp](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/infra-luna-20.md) - [Flickering Candle-Inspired Lanterns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nebo-big-poppy.md) - [Compact Elaborate LED Smart-Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cup-lamp.md)
